Welcome To This Week’s Edition of Tight Lines
The local weather may keep most of us indoors but for those that can’t sit still, remember there’s still plenty to do in preparation for when the sun shines again.
Check that your boating and safety equipment is up to spec, get your reels serviced and get that favourite rod of yours repaired so you can get back out there when you get the chance.
Still got the fishing itch that needs scratching? Well how about heading north and joining our local loyal customers who send us pics for our travelling angler reports.
Just like Zane and his mates have done, the lads are clearly stoked with mixing it with some fast-running pelagics such as this wonderfully marked Sailfish on a recent northern trip.
Or go way up North just like Ray has done in his quest to hunt those thumping Halibut we always see on social media! He just couldn’t help himself, he travelled all the way from Mandurah to Alaska and had to get a few on rod and reel for himself.. Solid effort mate.
There’s always something to reel in around our local waters regardless of the weather though, with big Bream lurking in our canals and marinas, awesome Trout being spun up from the feeder creeks to our nearby dams and plenty of big Snapper cruising our local beaches for those that choose to brave the stormy conditions.
Wherever you get the chance to wet a line this weekend as always, good luck tight lines, and remember every day’s a good day for fishing.
