Tight Lines – July 10th
July 10, 2025

Welcome to this week’s edition of Tight Lines, your go-to source for the latest Mandurah fishing conditions. From offshore adventures to estuary escapades, we’ve got the local insights to keep your lines tight.

Weekly winner Gazza at 83 years young and still reeling them in with his family.

While it’s been a wet, wintery week, check out the results these keen local fisho’s managed to land. Grabbing the best weather windows still pays off.

Angus and his family picked a break in the weather for an estuary session and found some great action. His silver trevally (Skippy) came from one of the clearer water patches, and there’s still a mix of Tailor, Herring and squid around if you pick your spot.

Benny’s been working the rivers hard and it’s paying off. He’s been chasing solid river Mulloway on light tackle and is now getting consistent results. The Black Bream action is firing too, with some impressive models caught this week.

Vince went post-rain and into the night, landing a quality land-based Pink Snapper from the rock walls. Timing it after the peak swell made it safer, and using fresh Mullet or Herring fillets gave him the edge.

Our beaches have been producing big Tailor lately and with the full moon this Friday the 11th, we’re tipping the morning high tide as a hot window.

Daniel and Gary made the most of one of those bitey moments, landing some seriously solid fish all on lures. Gary, at 83 years young, still reeling in slabs with the sand between his toes. What a legend!

Wherever you get the chance this week as always good luck tight lines and remember every day’s a good day for fishing.
