Welcome to this week’s edition of Tight Lines

First up this week, Saturday Morning the 13th of Jan is the second 1 hour window for Metro Roe Abalone. Remember just between the hours of 7 and 8am. Stay safe on the rocks and good luck.

The southwest Marron season is also open through till noon on the 5th of February.

This Sunday is also the Falcon Lions Club Kids Fishing Comp at Falcon Bay. A morning for all the family to enjoy registrations start from 8am.

On the fishing front this week it’s been firing.

Southern BlueFin Tuna, Striped tuna and Dolphin Fish between 80’s and 90’s. As well as holding tight on the Fads when the weather and currents line up.

Good Dhus and Baldchin from 30 metres plus, check out Glens Baldy- Seriously good fish.

Some good-sized whiting from our beaches as they start to school up during warmer months.

Speaking of Whiting Check out the size of the King Georges submitted in this week’s pics, seriously good.

Local crabs are on the rise, watch the tides and an early start is the key to better sized crabs.

And for the Spearos and divers this weekend’s weather looks amazing.

Wherever you get the chance to wet a line this weekend as always good luck tight lines and remember every day’s a good day for fishing.
