Tackle World Miami Weekly Fishing Report
Welcome to this week’s edition of Tight Lines, your go-to source for the latest Mandurah fishing conditions. From offshore adventures to estuary escapades, we’ve got the local insights to keep your lines tight.
Weekly Winner | Buzz with a stonker of a Yellow Fin
Crays and Crabs first up this week. The bulk of the whites run is thru the inshore reef systems and heading wide outside of 25mtrs.
With that said if you still need a feed before Xmas the weedy areas adjacent to the main structure can be good area to leave a pot or two for a pull. There is often a bit of activity in these sometimes-overlooked areas.

The Crabs are good for this time in the season. With some good sizes amongst them. Fresh bait and keep your drop nets moving if you’re not having much success. We also expect them more in the deeper water on the dark side of the moon cycle.
Pelagic species yes, they are here with two awesome catches during the week. Aaron nailed a Shark Mackerel on the cast over some reef using the new Malosi Minnow, catching any mackerel In the Metro area is special catching one sight casting at shadows is even more special. Then to back up the pelagic action Brett had a four way hook up on the troll out wide. On a Solo Mission he only managed to boat one of the fish, as you can imagine the chaos of four YFT going hard with no one left at the wheel. Well done Brett hopefully this is a sign of the summer ahead.
Inshore and estuary has really fired with the heat kicking in and water clarity on the improve. Lots of bait equals lots of Herring, Tailor Skippy and Squid.
