Weekly Winner | Simon with a local Fad Dollie

First up this week we have a handful of spots available for this Sunday's Surf Apnea course with Shanan Worrall the man himself behind Shark Eyes. Shanan has designed a course from his lifetime in the water, as a diver and world surf league surfer. It’s a course that suits everyone. If you surf, ocean swim, snorkel, freedive or scuba, this one-day course will build your confidence in the water immensely.

If you’re keen to grab the opportunity, log onto our FB or Insta and find the Shark Eyes Course post, click on the link to the Shark Eyes Course page, click on the Flexi Course and add to cart. Add the discount code ASH50, this will give you $50 off your course. We meet at the Port Quays Car Park, where the Celebration Port quays deli is at 8am.

Look forward to seeing you there.

On the fishing front this weekend looks epic, finally we are seeing a bit of an Autumn weather pattern. Saturday’s weather looks perfect for a trip wide in search of good pelagic’s. With Dollies, Yellow Fin Tuna and Wahoo all active form the fads in 100mtrs and wider. Sometimes the 150 to 200 mtr drop off is where we see more action. Run some bigger lure as well because you just never know when a Local Blue may show up.

Our Estuary is still fantastic with good Crabs, Herring are plentiful, Tailors are just getting bigger, and the Skippy have been as good as I’ve seen them.

Tuna on the Cast are always fun no mater what size

Just offshore Yellow Tail kings, King George Whiting and good Skippy encouraged up in a berley trail are all options available with the weather this weekend.

For the Divers Saturday will be epic with low swell and calm seas the visibility should be at its best to snavel a good feed of local crays.
