Tackle World Miami Weekly Fishing Report.
Welcome to this week’s edition of Tight Lines, your go-to source for the latest Mandurah fishing conditions. From offshore adventures to estuary escapades, we’ve got the local insights to keep your lines tight.

Earlier in the week, land-based Pink Snapper were on the chew following the swell push and a pulse of dirty water. Check out Blair and Jaxon both putting in a bit of effort after dark and getting rewarded. These classic land-based Mandurah fishing sessions are what autumn is all about.
With a low swell forecast over the next few days, the land-based Snapper may be a bit harder to tempt. But don’t worry, the clearer water is shaping up perfectly for Squid, Herring, and Skippy, especially along Mandurah’s beaches, rock walls and groynes. These species love clean conditions, making this a great window for shore-based fishing around the Peel coastline.
Expect that same crystal-clear water to push into the estuary system. With less cover for bait and cooling autumn water temperatures, conditions are ideal for chasing juvenile West Australian Salmon, also known as Salmon Trout. Check out Tim and Matty’s estuary session. These young Salmon are often mistaken for Australian Herring, but they’re a different species with their own regulations. WA Salmon have a 30cm minimum size and a daily bag limit of four per angler, so take care when identifying your catch.

Cruz made the most of calm autumn fishing conditions and bounced a soft plastic from the shore to tempt a solid Flathead from the beach. A great effort and classic Mandurah land-based fishing moment. Flathead love a well-presented plastic. Try a slow bounce-pause technique along the sandy bottom. Most strikes will come just after the pause as the lure starts to lift again.

Wherever you get the chance this week as always good luck tight lines and remember every day’s a good day for fishing.
