Tackle World Miami Weekly Fishing Report.
Welcome to this week’s edition of Tight Lines, your go-to source for the latest Mandurah fishing conditions. From offshore adventures to estuary escapades, we’ve got the local insights to keep your lines tight.

Whilst Autumn has been kind, it’s winter that’s on our doorstep and dictating our fishing choices as we head into June.
A crustacean we don’t talk about a lot is our local prawns. While they aren’t the biggest, they are still super tasty and or a premium bait. The first rains of the season stimulate them to leave our estuary system in bigger numbers, making a wade in the shallows near the exits to our system or a dab off the bridges a viable option.
We currently have outgoing tides at sunset so the runout of the prawns will be earlier in the night without the need to burn the midnight oil as much to get yourself a feed.
Tamara and Maddison have once again out done the boys with a nice Dhu and a nice Snapper from sunset anchor and burley sessions recently. During the winter months it is the most successful technique.

Anchor away from the structure you want to fish and cast your unweighted baits back toward the structure. Your burley needs to consist of constant small and consistent larger pieces to keep the Snapper and other species interested in hanging around in your patch before they decide its bite time.
With next week’s forecast a genuine wet winter outlook our sheltered estuary and river systems are going to be the best place to get your fix.
We still have good Tailor, Herring and crabs on offer. Another movement I’ve observed over the years with the first serious winter rains is the migration of Black bream from our Canals and Marinas back to our Serpentine and Murray rivers.
It may be a good ten days to explore this theory and target the entries and lower reaches of the systems to see how it pans out.
Wherever you get the chance this week as always good luck tight lines and remember every day’s a good day for fishing.
